A holiday weekend is here, and it will be celebrated with plenty of golf as the PGA Tour heads to Detroit for the third edition of the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Last year’s version turned out to be U.S. Open foreshadowing as Bryson DeChambeau held off Matthew Wolff for the victory, an outcome that would be repeated two months later at Winged Foot.

This time around, the U.S. Open will not be played for nearly another year, but there are plenty of golfers in this field getting in final prep work for the Open Championship at Royal St. George’s, which starts in two weeks.
