The Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG) is being treated as a potential acquisition site after a man who attended the Boxing Day Test between Australia and India tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In a statement on Twitter, the Victoria government’s Department of Health and Human Services called on all spectators seated in The Great Southern Stand in Zone 5 to get tested and self isolate until they return a negative test.

 

Speaking to The Guardian, Jeroen Weimar, Victoria state’s COVID-19 response commander has clarified that approximately 8,000 people were in the affected zone of the stadium….
