Pardeep Narwal saved his best for the last as he scored 34 raid points along with two tackle points to power Patna Pirates to 69-41 victory over Bengal Warriors in a Pro Kabaddi League match at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida on Sunday.

Pardeep’s 36-point display also helped him become the first player to breach the 300 raid points mark this season.

Despite starting with a depleted starting seven, Warriors began the match on the front foot with the likes of Rakesh Narwal and Mohammad Taghi impressing with a flurry of raid points and helped Bengal to a slender lead.

The Pirates’ poor defending resulted into the side being reduced to two men on the mat before Pardeep spearheaded the three-time champion’s revivial.
