Bengaluru Bulls’ Pawan Sehrawat made the headlines again, on Wednesday, when he scored a mammoth 39 raid points minutes to break Pardeep Narwal’s two-year old record for most raid points in a Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 2019) match.

The stand-in captain of the defending champion achieved this feat at the Tau Devilal Sports Complex in Panchkula against the home side Haryana Steelers.

The record was previously held by Patna’s skipper Pardeep, who scored 34 points against the same team in the fifth edition of the league.

Pawan, last season’s MVP, set the tone in the first half of the match as he bagged 18 points to help his side recover from an eight-point deficit to lead 28-18 at half-time. It was also the record for most raid points in a half.
